Abigail Gadiano

Abigail Gadiano is CareFirst Specialty Pharmacy's Pharmacy Technician Supervisor for non-sterile compounding, with over 10 years of pharmacy experience spanning specialty, retail, hospital, and long-term care settings. She oversees daily compounding operations, preparing customized non-sterile medications including capsules, creams, suspensions, and suppositories, and ensures every preparation meets pharmacy standards for accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Abigail joined CareFirst as a Lead Pharmacy Technician in 2019 before being promoted to Supervisor, where she now trains and mentors newly hired pharmacy technicians and interns and manages the pharmacy's chemical inventory. Earlier in her career, she gained broad pharmacy experience as a technician with CVS Pharmacy, CareKinesis, and Deborah Heart and Lung Center, working across retail, long-term care, and hospital pharmacy environments.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Central Luzon State University in the Philippines and is recognized for her attention to detail, leadership, and steadfast commitment to patient safety.
